Discontinuation of Merchant Shoppe NFTs & Launch of Metamoney Mining Area!

A major update is coming to Exodus: Goodbye World! On January 25, 2025, we’re officially discontinuing Old Metamoney and launching the Metamoney Mining Area in Decentraland!

Here’s what this means for you:

Old Metamoney Discontinuation

Old Metamoney, the temporary currency used during the Alpha stage, will be completely removed after January 25, 2025. Make sure to spend all your Old Metamoney at the Merchant Shoppe before it’s gone for good! After this date, Old Metamoney will have no use in the game.

New Blockchain-Based Metamoney

The new Metamoney is already live on the Polygon blockchain and will become the official in-game currency moving forward. You can now earn this blockchain-based currency in Decentraland’s Metamoney Mining Area, which will be introduced on January 25, 2025.

If you’re already playing on Android devices or using Android simulators, you can continue mining Metamoney as usual. Once earned, the new Metamoney will appear directly in your coin pouch in the game inventory, ready to be used in future updates and expansions!
